I love having a cell phone that can take nice(ish) pictures. Cell phones make it so easy to document everything - and boy do I document EVERYTHING. I take A LOT of pictures. It drives them crazy, but I love saving all my memories. Here are a bunch of everyday pictures from my phone that I have taken over the past few months. I have a thousand more pics, so I will have to make a few more posts to catch up...
Cutest little mailman
Wesley's first diorama. He had to pick an animal or bug, and decorate a shoebox about it. We picked the butterfly. He did this by himself (I told him where to color, what to draw, etc.. but he did it all himself)
Blake amazes me. At only one year old (when this picture was taken) he was already able to hold a marker the correct way. He still just scribbles, but I'm amazed at his fine motor skills.
There is a little farm that we get into with our Thanksgiving point passes. Its been pretty cold, but I've taken the little boys a couple times. I didn't get a good picture of his cute smile, but don't let this picture fool you. Blake LOVES animals, and he was grinning ear to ear the whole ride.
One would think by the time a kid turns six years old, they stop getting into everything. Well, if you believe that you haven't met Wesley. :-)
We had a very cold, and snowy Winter this year. The boys had fun, and made the most out of it by building snowmen (I built them, the boys just decorated them), and sledding, and so on.
When Jason travels, I get the opportunity to shovel the driveway. This was the first Winter I've ever shoveled snow. It really wasn't too bad though. We have nice neighbors who would often come over with their snow blower when we got a lot of snow. Driving in it was a bit scary. Our city does a great job of plowing the streets, but sometimes, if I had to leave early, it was a little scary. Luckily, there were only two times this past winter that I had a hard time driving. One time, my car didn't make it up the hill, so Wesley had a personal snow day. There were so many issues that day, the school didn't count any absences anyways.
We have the perfect little hill in our backyard for sledding. Its just the right size for little boys.
Wesley's big teeth have been coming in on the top, and his baby teeth won't budge. We let him use pliers one night to try to get a wiggly tooth that didn't want to come out. I ended up yanking it out. Two months later, his other big top tooth came in, and it took a lot of wiggling to get the other baby tooth out.
Silly Blake having fun with finger paints
My sweet little boys who love to play dress up
Handsome Wesley before school one morning
Much to Wesley's dismay, I took the boys to a local train show. Chase and Blake LOVE trains. Wesley - not so much.
My cousin and I had a kid free night, and attended a paint nite. It was a lot of fun! I would love to do it again sometime.
Jason took Chase on a little Daddy/son date to see a Monster truck show. It was about two months ago, but Chase still talks about it all the time. He had a blast.
I reorganized all our toys in the basement. I LOVE have a huge basement just dedicated to toys. The boys spend a lot of time down there (they were scared to go down when we first moved, but they love it down there now). Its pretty kid proof, so I can let the boys play while I get stuff done upstairs (or take a break).
Blake gets into everything if I don't watch him. He went in my room, and got some of my mascara and decided to paint himself with it.
Our CUTE hamster. I could just squish him!!
The boys really wanted to go on a picnic, but as you can see, it was snowing outside. We decided to have an indoor picnic on the floor next to the window. Good enough, right?
One night when Jason was gone, I let the older boys stay up at watch tv with me, and they both fell asleep on me. :-)

I think it is so important to document the "little things." For me those are many of the things I really want to remember. How life really was, you know?!
