Wesley got a tornado maker for Christmas, and he was obsessed with this thing for months.
Blake loves his "We-key" (as he calls him)
I finally transitioned Wesley from a 5 point harness to a belt positioning booster. Car accidents scare me, and I want to keep them as safe as I can. Wesley would have stayed in his car seat longer, but I had to switch the kids around since Blake's car seat expired.
As a Special treat, once in a while we have a pizza or a tv dinner night with tv trays. The boys LOVE these nights. (so do I - everyone is happy!)
This sweet little smile makes me so happy.
My cute super hero
I made puffy paints one day as a fun craft. They were a huge hit, and kept the boys busy for a long time!
My cute Wesley loves to flex his big muscles for anyone who asks :-)
I also made homemade gak one day, and the boys played with it for HOURS. It was really fun. Messy - but fun!
We were sooooo excited when the snow melted, and the temps got high enough for us to outside again!!!
Bathtime is always an adventure with three busy little boys
Wesley reading Blake a bedtime story. It is moments like this that melt my heart. :-)
Our first hike after Winter
Every morning Blake wakes up SUPER early, and often before the sun. He always wants a bottle of milk, and then wants to cuddle with me while we watch tv. I am always exhausted, but I do love my Blake cuddles. I know he is growing up so fast, and some day he will sleep in, and won't want to cuddle, so I'm trying my best to enjoy this while he is still small.
I always try to get some craft time in each week. It keeps me from going too crazy (lets face it - being a mommy is hard, and us Moms need a little alone time once in a while). Even though my house gets destroyed downstairs while I am crafting upstairs. I love making crafts for my home.
These cute boys sure do love each other.
Since Blake's car seat expired, I gave Blake Chase's seat, and Chase got Wesley's seat. Blake did great in the car rear facing, and now that he is forward facing (when he turned two), he is a tad bit fussier because he can see me now. I can't complain though - he has been a great car companion from the time he was born.
One day while both boys were at school, I bought two sugar cookies from a local little shop for us, and I took Blake to the park. It was nice having a little alone time with Blake. He found a big tree branch, and he pulled it all over the park.
Another fun craft I did was make the boys new Easter baskets. I love the way they turned out! :-)
We accidentally left out nice Strider balance bike at the park one day (along with Chase's helmet), while are probably long gone now. I found this wooden balance bike at an online yardsale site. Hopefully it will work as well as our strider which taught both Wesley and Chase how to balance and ride a bike.
Wesley volunteered to give our family night lesson one night. It was so cute to watch him collect all the items he needed, and carefully set up his table. He talked about temples, and families, and did a great job. It was so sweet.
Chase loves to pretend, and he recently set up a construction zone in our neighbors' backyard (they have better dirt and gravel to work with)
We have a neighbor dog who comes to visit us once in a while. Blake LOVES dogs, and LOVES when Nugget comes in our house.
I sometimes catch Wesley flexing his muscles in the mirror. He doesn't mind when I watch, or even when I snap a picture. :-) He makes me giggle.
One day while the older boys were in school, Blake took his baby and stroller for a walk. We live in a hilly neighborhood, and he did really well!! Now, he doesn't want to be pushed in a stroller anymore. He wants to walk himself now.
We still enjoy going to the Thanksgiving Point museums. The Museum of Curiosity is probably the favorite (they do love the dino museum too though). Here are a few pictures from a recent trip we took while Wesley was at school. I have been trying to enjoy my time with my two cute little boys. It makes me a little sad thinking that Chase will start kinder next year, and this will be the last year I have with him at home. I do love seeing them grow though, and experience the world, including school.
