...I remember looking up into the sky as a kid and watching the airplanes fly by. I wanted to fly up there soooo badly. I wanted to hug the clouds, and touch the sky. When I was six, I did get a chance to fly in a little four-seater airplane that was flown by my uncle. However, I have never flown in a commercial plane..until now! I went on a mini vacation with my mother in law, and we flew up to Washington to see my sister in law, and her cute little family. To be honest, I was pretty nervous to fly. I was reading all the pamphlets on what to do if we crash or need oxygen, and they kind of got my heart pumping. Taking off was a new experience, and kind of scared me too. Once we were up in the air though, I was amazed at how calm it was. We transferred to a propeller plane, and that one had more turbulence and was kind of scary :-p I am alive, and can now say I have flown on a plane! :-) Wesley was super, super good. I was shocked because he tends to get pretty fussy when he can't run around.

We had fun in Washington. Jennifer was so gracious, and let us stay at her house with all our craziness! :-) Wesley's cousin Leah is his age, and it is cute to see them play together. She is so cute and calm, and Wesley is all boy. He runs around like there is no tomorrow. He says a lot of words now too, and is talking non-stop.
We went to the Columbia River a few times. The river is a glacial river, and is super cold. Wesley and Leah jumped in anyways and had fun playing in it. The first day they didn't have bathing suits and just played in their clothes, but the next day we were a little more prepared.
I love having one of my best friends as a sister in law! :-)
