My baby ball of Wesley-ness

My little cutie pattotie Wesley ball of craziness turned 16 months old a few days ago.  He is a silly, hyper, talkative, boy full of energy.  I would have never thought that he would have acquired this type of personality, because he has always been rather laid back.  It took him 13 months to crawl, and for the longest time he just sat there, and really didn't do too much.  He only crawled for a few weeks before he took off running.  As soon as he figured out how to walk, he ran.  Now, he doesn't want to sit anywhere for more than a minute.  He has to be off exploring, and playing, and giving mommy a work out chasing him all over!  He is the silliest little thing.  He likes to walk with his eyes closed and will bump into things, and he spins and spins with his eyes closed until he is too dizzy to stand.  He loves to grab Jason or my face and give us a HUGE kiss.  He just sits there kissing my check and says, "Muuuuuuuuwaaaaa!" He is super talkative, and jabbers pretty much all day, everyday.  One would think he was a girl for all the talking he does.  He does say a lot of words, but a lot of his talk is jabber.   Some of his favorite words are: Happy, car, baby, apple, light, ball, mama (he calls everyone mama), two, three, eat, and a bunch of other stuff.  He can sign please and milk, and eat.  The littlest things make him giggle.  I guess that is one of the reasons babies are so cute.  They find the everyday simplest things amusing.  Wesley has a huge personality on his little body, and with that comes a lot of stubbornness.   He fusses For EVER when he doesn't get what he wants.  Sometimes, I think he fusses just to fuss.   Maybe he is just a strong willed child.  I know if he learns to take that determination and put it too good use, he can accomplish a lot in life.  Until then, I have to figure out how to handle his "baby tantrums"  and fussiness.   Moms...any advice?  :-)  Other than that, Jason and I are having so much fun with our little Wesley.  He is constantly putting a smile on our face with his silly little personality!! He is the sweetest little thing :-)
