I often have to remind myself that THESE are the good 'ol days. Life right now is going to give me the best memories as an old lady. Right now though, while I'm in the thick of things - life can be hard. I haven't been posting as much because I've been overwhelmed and my anxiety has been a bit out of control lately. Motherhood has been a bit exhausting - messes, non-stop energy, lots of complaining, fighting, more messes... the usual. However, when I stop and reflect on life, I quickly am reminded how incredibly blessed I am. I'm thankful for these three beautiful boys that enrich my life more than I can even comprehend at this moment. I'm so grateful to be able to make such wonderful memories with them, and that I have been able to stay home with them (even though its harder than I ever imagined it could be), and never miss a moment of their childhood. Life is good. It really, truly is.

Blake joined a t-ball team this past Summer. He had an AMAZING coach, but neither him nor myself cared for it much. Its a very slow paced game, and sitting out in ninety plus degree weather is hard for both the player and the spectator. He sure is cute though!!
We had so much fun using our new membership at This Is This Place over the summer.
We would often bring our lunch and have a nice picnic |
Gold panning is Wesley's favorite activity there |
I signed up for a local influencer program, and we have enjoyed a lot of free food/activities over the past year in exchange for an instagram post.
Chase signed up for a lacrosse clinic. I'm not sure how interested he is in continuing this sport, but I LOVE that he enjoys trying new things!
Its always fun to eat a little dirt once in a while!
For scouts Chase got to put on a carnival for his troop. We found this toss game at the thrift store, and it was perfect for his booth!
I think every summer needs to be full of mud and outdoor messes!
We have had our Thanksgiving Point membership for about five years now, and we are still enjoying it! Blake loves the museums, and its a great place to go while his brother's are in school.
Every once in a while I'll treat him to lunch there for a special "Mommy-Blake" date |
Even though Blake can swing himself, he still asks me to push him on our swing set which is so sweet.

This scene looked like something that would appear in a disney movie |
Its a little sad that my boys are starting to outgrow splash pads. Luckily, even if they initially don't want to go, they usually enjoy themselves once we are there. I love the one our city built last year. It is right next to the boys' school, and Blake loved playing in it while we waited for his brother's to get out of school.
We found a quiet little reservoir in our local mountains, and enjoyed a day of kayaking and relaxing a few months back. Blake, at only five years old, has become a really good little kayaker!
