Here are some of our life adventures we had around March.
Blue and Gold dinner! The boys' cub scout troop puts on the BEST blue and gold dinners. I'm always blown away by the detail and sheer amount of time and thought that goes into these.
We love hiking, and are always a bit nature deprived in the winter. We decided to give snowshoeing a try so we could get out even with the snow. We rented snowshoes and hiked around the nordic center in Park City. Snowshoeing requires a bit more effort than regular hiking but Blake and Chase did awesome. I seriously couldn't keep up with Chase. However, Wesley struggled a bit and was NOT a fan.
We were WAY overdressed. The sun was shinning and we were sweating in our big winter jackets! A sweater would have been more that enough.

Blake is my lunch buddy. He is a picky eater so I can't get too creative with our menu. However, its always fun to decorate the plate!
Blake is also my cuddle bug. He is always asking to cuddle with me and LOVES when he gets to ride the Mommy train to bed each night.
Our sweet hamster Coco passed away. We had Coco since he was only three weeks old. He was the kindest hamster. He never bit, and always put up with lots of touching and cuddles. Wesley, my tender hearted sweet boy, always takes these things the hardest. Blake also was pretty upset and kept saying, "I feel so, so bad for Coco!" It breaks my heart to see my boys to sad, but death is a part of life that no one can escape from.
Blake likes when I make little "nooks" in blankets.
For Dr. Seuss week Blake got to go to school in PJ's and with crazy hair!! He was reluctant to go to school once he looked in the mirror, but finally agreed after much coaxing.
Sunday selfies with my cuties!
Blake makes a great lunch date. I recently signed up to be a local influencer, which basically means companies will give me free stuff in exchange for an intagram post.
We made a few attempts to play at the park this winter, but we usually only lasted a few minutes. It was cold, but this view sure was beautiful!
One day we got to eat lunch with Chase at school. Blake loved it and keeps asking to go back.
Blake loves to write "I love Mom" anywhere he can. I love this boy!
Chase asked me to post this picture of our bunny. Cutest squishy face ever.
Wesley and Chase both took skiing lessons through the local rec center this year. Blake is too young for that program, so we signed him up for ski lessons directly though the ski resort. They are pricey, but Blake had a blast. He is a pretty athletic little guy and enjoys keeping busy. I didn't enjoy the many trips I had to take up and down the mountain for three weeks, but maybe next year I will try to go skiing more to make the trips worth it. However, I did LOVE looking at the beautiful scenery while waiting for him to get out of his lesson.
We love Thanksgiving point!! This has been our home away from home!
