Fall 2017

Jason took the boys to comicon last year, and they all seemed to have had a great time.  I'll have to join them next time.

We love visiting Gardner Village during the holidays - especially during the Fall.  I love that Utah embraces the holidays, and everything is so festive!

My parents came up for a visit in October.  I love having them come up.  They are wonderful grandparents, and we always have so much fun.  I took them to the Thanksgiving Point Gardens right before it closed for the Winter, and we had a beautiful, relaxing day.

I also took them up to Silver Lake where we got to enjoy some snow (a big deal for Californians!) and walk around the beautiful lake.  Most of the leaves had already fallen, but some remained and were beautiful fall colors.

We also took them to the dinosaur museum, and my dad enjoyed the ice cream sundaes at the deli next door.

I like to keep my parents busy when they come over, so we also went to This is The Place Monument.  It was a beautiful, sunny day, but the children's area was closed (the part my boys were really excited about).  I was a a bit disappointed, but they gave us return tickets, and we made the most out of our day together.  Its always fun going places with Grandma and Papa.  Papa often gets more excited than the kids when we go to new places!  :-)

Chase lost his first top tooth when my parents were down

I LOVE decorating for Halloween

I have not had the opportunity to attend many of my children's field trips, but I was finally able to go with Wesley to the Planetarium, and I'm so thankful.  I really enjoyed spending the morning with Wesley and his class, and I always love when science is involved!!

Wesley makes the best faces

Fall hikes are one of my favorite activities in the autumn time - especially since there are so many pretty hikes within minutes of our house.  These two pictures are from a trail just up the street from us.
