For our 12 year anniversary we went to the fanciest restaurant I've ever been to. It is located against the mountain side, so the scenery was amazing. There was a large river that flowed right next to it, and peacocks roamed free. The grounds were gorgeous, the restaurant was charming, and the food was... interesting ha ha ha. I decided to indulge so I ordered snails. The texture is exactly how one would imagine - squishy and earthy. It was not my favorite item of the night, but it was a unique and amazing experience!
We also celebrated as a family by hiking up Mt. Tempanogos and taking a cave tour. Nothing says happy anniversary better than a 1.5 mile hike up the mountain with three hot and cranky little boys! ha ha ha. Honestly, we all had a really good time and the boys loved the cave. I'm always amazed by the diverse beauty of this earth!
