This Halloween everyone was really excited to pick their own costumes. Normally I buy costumes on clearance the year before and I choose their costumes, but this year they all knew what they wanted to be, and each one represents their personality.
Wesley - Egyptian pharaoh. Wesley likes to be different and bold. I might be biased, but I think he had the cutest costume in the neighborhood! :-)
Chase - at school he was a cowboy, and for trick or treating he was a police man. We already had both of these costumes along with others in his dress up bin. Chase LOVES to play dress-up and he wears these outfits almost every day. He prefers realistic, profession based costumes. He has a great imagination, but he's not for the pretend, scary, or far fetched ones.
Blake - Pirate. He loves dressing up with Chase, and recently he has been really interested with pirates. He was so cute when he got into "character" and would go around with his hook saying, "Arg Maetey!" in his sweet two year old voice.
I love Halloween, and I decided to put up lots of Halloween decorations outside out house this year. All the neighborhood kids said we had the coolest house on the block. Normally our house is the one on the street covered in toys, and patches of dead grass, so I'll take having a fun house at least once a year lol.
They all really had a fun time trick or treating, and Blake kept asking to go "fick or feeting" for weeks after Halloween.
This past fall was really mild. We really enjoyed the gorgeous fall colors and being able to play outside before the snow came (and boy has it been coming!)
We also went to Corn Bellies, which is one of the boys' favorite things to do every year. It was nice and warm, and it has become a fun fall tradition!
