I had never heard of Dinosaur Land until a few weeks ago. We decided to go on a last minute trip to Vernal (about 3 hours away). I expected there to be a dinosaur museum, but I didn't realize how HUGE this "Dinosaur Land" was (it covers two states), and how much there was to see and do. We sat in the hotel room, and went though our huge pile of flyers trying to decide which things we had time to see. We ended up looking at dinosaur bones, petroglyphs (sp?), nature, and historic cabins. My favorite was the national monument dino quarry, where there are hundreds of bones sticking out of the side of a mountain. It was really fascinating!
