The other night I put Chase to sleep, and just sat in the dark next to his bed.  I watched him breath.  I looked at his sweet little toes...five perfect round 'peas' on that plump little foot.  His sweet rose bud lips...pink, and oh so sweet.  His gorgeous skin, and sweet chunky legs. His oh so kissable plump cheeks. His cute big head :-). That fluffy hair that sticks straight up and makes me smile. Those sweet delicate hands.  I know that even though they are so tiny, so new right now... someday they will be calloused and worn as he uses them to make the world a better place and provide for his future family. He is perfect. I made him.  He is perfection.  His heart working so perfectly to keep him alive...I made that heart. Sweet, beautiful, I wanted to never forget that moment.  He is MY baby.  Chase had no clue I was gazing at him from the side of his bed.  He slept peacefully.  Maybe God looks upon us with that same adoration.  "I MADE them"  "they are mine"  "I love them so much" "I want them to be happy"  And we have no clue.  We dont know how important we are.  How much we are loved!!  How eternally significant we are!!  We live each day unaware that we have someone gazing down on us with much more love than we can even comprehend!
