We have been busy the last few months having fun with Jason's sister Jennifer, and her three kids. Wesley loves his cousins - especially Leah who is also two years old. We went to the beach to celebrate Jason's mom's birthday in August. It was Wesley first time going to the beach since he was four months old. Wesley didn't really care about the water too much, but LOVED all the sand. We grilled some hot dogs, and had a nice relaxing time until the tide started coming really close to us at night, and Wesley kept trying to wander away. It is so dark at the beach at night, and it is hard to keep track of three wandering toddlers.

It was chilly at night, so we bundled up Chase |
I love going to the LA county fair. Since Jason and I started dating, we have gone almost every year. However, we didn't go last year because I had such bad morning sickness, just the idea of smelling all the fair food made me nauseous. We went on a weekday evening, and only spent a few hours there. It was fun, but some punk teenage girls made me a little (ok a lot) upset. They were in the kiddy ride area using really bad language. I politely asked them to watch their language in front of all the children. Well, that made them mad, and they started getting an attitude with my mother in law. My mother in law is so funny and witty, and they clearly couldn't think of good come backs and got really upset, so they continued to cuss even worse every time they saw us. Some teenagers just have zero respect. Honestly, they were surrounded by children, and the girls could care a less that they were using the "F" word in front of them. It put a damper on my night, but luckily Wesley had no clue, and had a lot of fun. He rode the ridiculously expensive rides, and had a blast. He went on his first roller coaster, and loved it. Auntie Jennifer was a good sport, and rode on all the little rides with the kid's. The two babies of course stayed behind :-)

Jennifer might be just as excited as the kid's! |

My little camera didn't do so well with the fast moving rides, but look how excited his face is! :-) |
Oak Glen is so beautiful this time of year. It is a cute little village up in the local hills where they have a lot of apple orchards and other fruit groves. It is always fun to just walk around and smell the fresh air, and enjoy the cute little town.

Fun. BTW, it ticks me off when people curse in front of kids period... but to do it in the kiddy area, that's infuriating.
