my cutie patooties...2 years and 3 months |

I wasn't able to post everything in my last post, so here are a few more random pictures.
Jason bought a butterfly garden and ladybug kit during Christmas for Wesley. I finally got around to ordering the bugs, and it has been a lot of fun. 4 out of the 5 caterpillars turned into butterfly's, and we also got to watch the ladybugs change from larva to ladybugs. It was fascinating...probably more for me than Wesley. However, he loves his "Very Hungry Caterpillar" book and understands (as much as a 2 year old can) that caterpillars make cocoons, and butterflys come out. We observed them for a few days and then enjoyed releasing them into the garden. The butterfly's took off and we never saw them again, but we got to play with the ladybugs for a few minutes before they wandered off.

we got this at a yard sale for $5...yay for cheep entertainment! |
I have been cutting Jason's hair for years...it is sooo much cheaper than getting it cut anywhere else! I also cut Wesley's hair too, but we got a coupon to get Wesley's hair cut at a real salon. I figured I would give it a try. However, even after the coupon, it was expensive and it was the same quality haircut I could have given at home. However, it was a fun experience. He got to watch Elmo as he sat in a taxi cab while she cut his hair. It was cute, I will admit. However, I think I will stick to cutting his hair at home! :-)

I love that first picture - it is the greatest one ever! Chase does have the cutest cheeks. I love the butterfly kit idea! That's ingenuous! I wish I could take pictures as good as yours... maybe some day (:
