This is what our first attempt with solids looked like. He is obviously not ready, and still has the tongue thrust reflex and just kept spitting the food back out. He is a little young still, but he seemed interested in eating, so I thought I would give it a try. He was really confused and didn't know what was going on. There was more food on him, and the floor than in his mouth. It made for cute pictures though. :-) We will try feeding him solids again in a little while. However, I'm not in any hurry...he can stay my 'little' baby a while longer!
I am still working on his sleeping schedule, but when he does fall asleep, I can't help but take a few pictures...sleeping babies are the sweetest.

Ahh!! But look at his little face like, what is going on. Since when was food chunky? :) Sleeping kids are so innocent. It is then that you look at them and love them and forget every little naughty thing they did that day :)
