There are some days where I can't wait for nap time because Wesley is just being a crazy boy. Then, after nap time I can't wait for bed time because dinner and bath time get pretty exhausting. Then, at night after my boys are asleep I get sad because I realize how fast they are growing up. The days are going too fast, and I shouldn't 'wish' them away. I often dont even realize it until I am sitting in my quiet house at night, reflecting on my life. I am so grateful to have two healthy boys. I know too many friends and acquaintances who have sick babies right now. It makes me so sad, and I am sooo appreciative of my healthy kids and will try my best to not take it for granted.
Chase is a week away form being 3 months, and even though 3 months isn't very old, I feel like I can't even remember what it was like when he was a little newborn. He is growing so fast, and at his 2 month appointment they said he was the size of a four month old. 13 lb 10 oz, 24 inches, and a head in the 86th percentile. Big boy! He has started to giggle...it is not loud, but it is the cutest little sound. When he smiles his entire face explodes into a massive grin. I love it. He is getting fussier with his "old" age. I was hoping for a nice quiet, calm baby after having my crazy, silly Wesley. Well, Chase just might follow in his big brother's foot steps. He is still a good baby (all babies are good), but he is getting fussier. I am trying to see if it is a milk allergy, or some food that I am eating that is passing in my milk? We will see. He is a light sleeper like me, and doesn't sleep well during the day because Wesley is so loud. Some days he only takes one nap, and maybe a few 10 minute naps here and there. He doesn't even sleep in the stroller. Wesley would fall asleep the minute we started walking in the stroller, but not Chase. We go for walks almost every day for a mile or more, and he stays awake pretty much the whole time. He has been like that since he was born. I guess there is just too much to look at. However, he is still an awesome sleeper at night, and I am very grateful. Bed at 9:30, and he wakes once between 3:30 and 5:30 to eat...he even once went all the way until 6:45. He will usually sleep another few hours until he wakes up again. Sometimes, if I need another hour of sleep I will cuddle him in bed...he loves being next to me. During the day often he will cry and cry until I hold him...he must know my smell because he often wont calm down with daddy or anyone until I hold him. Super flattering, but it can get tiring when I need a little break. He is going to be a talker because he talks and talks and coos (when he is happy and not crying). Wesley just loves him, and will often say "play baby" and want me to put him down on his play mat so they can "play" together. Wesley Loves kissing Chase's little hand, and constantly says "cute baby!" He always tells me when Chase is crying (just in case I didn't already know!) lol A month or so ago our friends were leaving church at the same time as we were with their baby in the carrier. Wesley got really worried when they put their carrier in their car and he yelled "Chase!!!" It was so sweet that he was worried that they were taking his little brother. Wesley talks and talks and talks ALLLL day. He is the most talkative little guy I know. It is so cute to hear his expanding vocabulary, but he sure knows what he wants..and is good at expressing what he wants...very loudly! :-p I look down at sweet little Chase's face who always looks confused when Wesley is screaming. Poor little guy doesn't know what is going on! Anyways...life is good....a bit exhausting at times, but it is fun. I love my little goobers so much. My life is so much richer and more rewarding now than it was with out kids. I am on a whole different kind of adventure than I was on when I was in college. I do miss college sometimes, but I am so excited to teach my kids all about this world and the amazing things life offers. Sorry that was just a giant paragraph with random stuff, but I'm trying to hurry while the boys are napping! :-)

Like I said earlier, Wesley loves to play with Chase in the activity gym. These two pictures crack me up...I didn't pose them or anything...they just happened to make the same two poses in a row!
