I love flowers. They make me happy. There are so many colors, and sizes, and scents. I dont know why it took me a year to transform my dirty weed patch into a lovely garden, but I am so glad I did. My grandma and mom came over and helped me perform this delicate transformation. Before, the front of my house was a yucky mess of dirt and weeds, and devil's grass. Every time I looked at it I got a little sad because it was so ugly. Finally I decided to stop being lazy, and "just do it." It didn't take too long, and I love the way it looks. It makes me so happy now. I dont know what it is about flowers, but they have a way of making my soul happy. I think gardening might just become my new hobby. My grandma is 79, and she sometimes spends 6 hours in her garden. She is amazing, and such a good example to me. Yay for happy flowers!
ps...does anyone know how to make pictures bigger on blogger?? These tiny pictures are driving me crazy!
This is the best 'before' pic I have...I forgot to take pictures before I planted the garden. You can kind of see the dirt patch behind the tree ( in front of the window), and on the side of the walk way. (If you click on it, you can see it better.)
Here is the after: I added the wood chips too, and the little bricks.

Wesley was sneaky, and had fun while I was preoccupied taking pictures.

Your house is darling! I love all your flowers too. If you want to post larger pictures you can go into your settings and make sure to have under "select post editor" "updated post editor" then everytime you update a picture they will ask what size you want it. Do XL. Then you can also go into your "design" tab (the new tab next to settings) and adjust the column widths so that the pictures can all show up. Play around with that until it looks the way you like it!
