Today while at Joann's there was a little boy about 5 years old who was looking at Wesley sleeping in his stroller. The little boy looked at Wesley and then tugged on his mom's shirt and said, "mom....that is a BIG baby....mom...that is a really big baby!!" His mom said, "sorry..he is used to his six month old brother at home." I told her that Wesley was only seven months old, and she said, "wow...good job." What is funny is that only five minutes before an employee had commented on how big he was. She asked how much he weighed at birth, thinking I was going to say 9 or 10 lbs. She was surprised when I told her he was a preemie. She said, "wow....was that all you mama??" People say silly things when they are taken by surprise, lol. These things make me laugh....is Wesley really that big?? Honestly?? I would never had imagined that my tiny, fragile little guy would have grown so much in such a short amount of time! He actually fit into 18 month PJ's this evening. Crazy! I remember thinking that one of the benefits of him coming early was that I got to have a little baby for longer. Ya...not so much, lol.
And...I love pictures in blogs (well...I just love pictures), so I figure I should include at least one picture! My aunt made all these adorable burp cloths for him a few weeks ago. She is very talented, and Wesley loves them :-p Also, my friend Sandra made that cute blanket he is laying on.

I don't think he looks any bigger than your average 7 month old, but what do I know?
I don't think he looks big, but if he's already in 18 months, he's bigger than she was at that point. She was wearing 6-9 at a year, but she has always been pretty skinny for her age.
well...he usually fits in a 9 or 12 month, but I think those PJ's were pretty small for being size 18 month. I mean, he is 50th percentile, so I dont know why people think he is so much bigger. I think it may be because his head is in the 95th percentile, so it makes him look bigger then he is, lol
David Robert wore a size 3 months when he was 7 months and that size was way too big for him so I think little Wesley is growing at perfect speed.
David was only 2 pounds at birth. When he was 7 months he looked like he was 2 months.
We have a little girl at work, her name is Heaven. Her mom left her at the hospital at birth. She weighed .09 oz and she just celebrated her 1st birthday. She is PERFECTLY healthy with no health conditions. She is very, very petite but she will eventually grow into her age.

boys are much bigger than girls.
