Homeschool during December included:
-Learning about Norway and their traditions. We made some typical Norwegian holiday food including peppercakers. I forgot an important ingredient which turned my dough almost as hard as a rock (I literally could hammer it). I was so upset after spending so much time on it! Jason saved the day though, and somehow managed to soften the dough, and we made some really yummy cookies!
-Leaning about microscope and the amazing microscopic world that was now opened up to us!
-Building gingerbread homes, visits from elves, and enjoying advent calendars on personal desks along with mini personal Christmas trees each boy got to decorate.
-PE at the skate park (When the weather was mild).
-Making fancy drinks for our fancy Christmas Eve party.
-Enjoying homemade "Snow-cream."
-Chicken cuddles (Blake was obsessed with chickens at this time! Now, as I write this in 2023 kitties is his new obsession!)
-Boy cuddles
-Happiness in our cozy home as we learned and celebrated together!
-Celebrating New Years with our New Years Tree including money balloons, poppers, and silly string.
(Again, these photos are all out of chronological order, but here is a summary of our homeschool life in December:)
