November 2019

I am a bit emotional as I look through my pictures taken only six months ago- pictures of us enjoying a public space without a mask.  Pictures of us within six feet of other people without any care or worry.  Pictures of us enjoying venues that will end up shutting down a few months later due to a global pandemic.  Pictures of us taking our "normal" life for granted.  I hope my children will be able to enjoy a world like this again someday.  I also hope we all can learn from this and appreciate life so much more.

November 2019 -

Wesley's fifth grade service project. He bought supplies/toys, sorted by age/gender, and filled shoe boxes that were sent to third world countries for Christmas.
I'm not a huge fan of bike riding, but Chase LOVES it.  Every once in a while I try to be a good mom and accompany him on one of his bike rides.

Cub Scout "Around the World Day"

When the brothers were in school, Blake and I took advantage and went on a lot of "Mommy Blake" dates.

Rae Dunn Thanksgiving decor.  This sight brings me so much happiness!

Its embarrassing how much work I went through to find many of these pieces.

Blake gave a two minute presentation to his entire class all about worm farms.  He made this poster mostly on his own, and he did such a good job!

Bahama Bucks surprise treat after school (note nugget the dog in the background that had to join us).

Cub Scout Ninja warrior day

Mom/Blake date to the Zoo

Wesley/Mom date to Waffle love

Addie was a sweet little girl that I watched for two years while her mom worked.  Blake and Addie became the best of friends.  Sadly, they moved away a couple years ago.  Luckily they still visit, and these cute friends always seem to pick up right where they left off! We went to the Butterfly Biosphere together and my boys got to hold some butterflies!

Thanksgiving point is almost like our second home!
