Christmas 2019

Since moving to Utah, every year (minus one) we have used foto fly to take our "Santa" pictures.  I love how artistic they are. I wish we had something like this in California when the older boys were small!

I'm actually dressed up as Mrs. Claus in all these!

They have a regular santa for the kids to talk with as well (even though I had to bribe them to go and take this picture).
Utah winters are hard on my overall mental health, but I LOVE the snow, and I love how cozy it makes Christmas time feel.

Our two elves faithfully show up every year!

Every year our city puts on a candy cane hunt for the kids.  Wesley and Chase are too old now, but Blake made the cutoff.  Normally we don't attend because of how busy it gets.  However, Blake has almost reached the age limit, so we decided to brave the crowds for one final memory.  Blake found a special tagged candy cane that allowed him to trade it in for a little toy.  It is bittersweet watching my boys outgrow experiences like this.  However, I'm grateful for all the fun memories we have made!

Chase dressed up as a Christmas tree for our family Christmas party.  I love that his shoes light up to match!

Wesley and his friend unexpectedly matched for their Christmas party!

Jason doesn't like cake, or dessert, so the boys decorated a banana with his birthday candles.

Instead of making cookies on Christmas Eve, we made Carmel apples for Santa

Our "New Year's Tree"

This year we visited Temple square after Christmas, and it was so quiet!  Normally this area is swarming with people during the weeks leading up to Christmas.
