Little Mill Camping trip

Our second camping trip with our camper was another success!  We were lucky to find the last available spot open for us as we drove through our desired campsite.  Within minutes of parking, many other people drove by looking for open spots.  It would be horrible to have the camper packed and the kids excited, only to realize there are no more spots available at the campground.  The campsite we stayed at is one of the closest to our house - only about 30 minutes away.  It was a simple campground, but it had a beautiful trail next to it that ran along a river.  The boys rode their bikes up and down the trail for hours.  Wesley and I even panned for gold (we didn't find any).  Unlike our first camping experience, I slept much better this time around.  The morning was nice and cool, the birds were chirping, and the river created lovely background water noises.  I love waking up and opening my window to the sights and sounds of nature.   I believe we all need nature time to help us relax and unwind from the craziness of the world.
