Valentines Day

Valentines Day - fun holiday for kids, but an awkward holiday for adults.  I'm not a fan of celebrating it myself, however, I love any opportunity to have fun with my kids. Jason helped the boys make their school Valentine boxes this year. For lunch I made AMAZING valentine pancakes that Blake and Addie helped me decorate (and as you can see from the picture below, I should open my own restaurant).  I also made amazing heart shaped meatloaf patties for dinner.  They tasted much better than they look! :-) OK, Ok, so our Valentines wasn't Pinterest perfect, but it was filled with love, and that is all that matters, right? :-)

Blake found this painted rock while we were running an errand

Chase wanted a lego box, and Wesley wanted a Kirito box.  Yes, Wesley was crying in this picture.  He was sad because he wasn't happy with parts of his box, but then I told him how special it was because his dad helped him make it,. Then he got emotional and cried because he felt bad.  Poor, sweet little emotional Wesley.  I love his sensitive spirit.
