There is an amazing aquatic center near our home that the boys really enjoy. Its has small slides for Blake, and a larger one for the older boys. There is a lazy river, outdoor splash pad area, kids fun area, and lots of room for swimming laps. Its very inexpensive, and keeps the kids busy for HOURS. Almost every city in Utah has an aquatic center, but this is one of the best!
We live on the hillside, and even though most of our house doesn't have very good views, Chase's room overlooks the valley. On the 4th of July, pioneer day, or any time in between we can sit in his room and watch the fireworks all over the Salt Lake valley.

This Summer we had a lot of shaved ice!! There are shaved ice stands ALL over Utah!
Our neighbor had the sweetest dog named Benson. His owners didn't give him a lot of attention, but my boys LOVED him, especially Blake. They would carry him all over the yard, chase him, and even walk him in their shopping cart. We didn't need a dog, because we just borrowed the neighbor's dog all the time! Unfortunately they moved a few months ago, and now Blake doesn't have his doggy friend anymore.

We get so excited when we see a dear in our backyard (a rare sight!) |
The boys got to do a service project up at scout camp one evening. I just enjoyed the pretty nature!

Chase also received his Bobcat award up there |

Its always fun to get an ice cream treat after hard work! |
We had a leaky hose valve and water had been trickling down the side of our house for about a month. I started noticing a bad odor in our basement and realized one room was flooded. Its a spare room we only use for toy trains, so I hadn't been in that room in a while. This could have been a very pricey issue, but Jason is a handy man who can fix almost anything. He ended up ripping our carpet out, drying the floors, replaced the floorboards, carpet mat, and put the dried carpet back in place.
