Lego Land!

My mother in law took us to the Lego land hotel this past spring, and it was the most amazing hotel I've ever been to.  The details of this hotel were mind blowing.  Jason takes us to a lot of nice hotels, but I always feel so awkward and stressed with kids.  Kids are loud, and messy, and destructive which isn't ideal in a fancy hotel.  The Lego Land hotel was built for kids, which made me super excited.  The boys could be their crazy selves, and no one cared.  Not only were there a million legos to play with and tons of amazing lego statues to admire, but everything was so colorful and happy.  The elevator played loud dance music and a disco light went on each time the door closed.  There was a scavenger hunt for the kids, and once completed, they got to enter a special code which opened the safe in our room to reveal some lego treasures.  There was a dinning room that contained an adult buffet, as well as a child buffet.  Buffets always stress me out with three kids.  However, all the boys were able to pick out and plate their own food at this buffet. It was magical!  The pool was really fun, and had lots of floating lego foam bricks so kids could build and swim at the same time! At night the hotel had a dance party complete with a DJ and fun disco lights.  In the morning we went to Lego Land, which is really fun for younger kids, but honestly - the hotel was the highlight of the trip.  I'm still blown away by how amazing that experience was.  It was one of the best mini vacations I've ever been on.
