Outdoor science fun and Pioneer day

These are some pics from the summer, but I'm trying to catch up so when I print my yearly blog book, 2016 won't be so empty!  My boys would watch tv or play in ipads if I let them - which I don't - unless they are sick - or I am sick - but I try hard to come up with fun (and sometimes educational) things for them to do.  One day I made these awesome fizzy chalk squeeze paints which the kids really enjoyed.  Chase savored his bottle and took him time, while everyone else poured theirs out in a matter of minutes.  Poor Chase was being hunted down like a hawk on a mouse.  Also - I've included some fun pioneer day pictures of the boys wearing their cute matching patriotic bowties to church!  :-)
I didn't realize Chase's shirt was too small for him until we got to church.  These boys grow so fast!
