Chase loves to dress up. His favorite is dressing up like a police man, and using his jeep as the police car.

Wesley made a trilobite out of plaster of paris and then painted it. It looks so real! |
Blake loves his balance bike, and has become really good at riding it this summer
We stumbled upon a safety fair at the park one evening, and the boys had so much fun! They each got a free bike helmet and other free goodies, and the boys got to sit in a fire truck!
My boys really do love each other. As hard as it is having three boys close in age, I wouldn't trade it for anything. The bond they share melts my Mommy heart. (I'm sure right after this picture was taken they started fighting though...)
Blake likes to pretend to sleep in the car, and when I go to get him out he will close his eyes really tight and smile as he "tricks" Mommy. :-)
We love our Thanksgiving point membership, and go to each of the venues on a regular basis.

Blake loves putting on shows in the little theater at the Museum of Curiosity |
All ready for church (I think this was taken in the spring based on everyone's sweaters)
I enrolled Wesley in gymnastics at the end of the school year. He was really excited about it (and he is not a sports person), so I thought it would be a good way for him to gain some strength and get some energy out. He had tons of fun, but I don't think gymnastics is really his thing... :-)
My cute little artist
11 year anniversary
Wesley's teacher at church is so much fun. Every week he comes home with a cute new craft.
I purchased a water slide on sale in the spring, and we have enjoyed many hours of fun on it this summer. When ever we set it up, it seems to attract the whole neighborhood, which then turns into a giant water party! :-)
Blake likes to help me unload the dishwasher, and one day he insisted on wearing his head lamp. :-)
We have this little table that we normally use for parties or when friends are over. Blake loves it, and insists on sitting here for all his meals.
I discovered a cute little hidden duck pond just a few minutes from our house. I love these little natural treasures! On this particular day, Daddy had just left on an airplane for work, so I took the boys on a little nature hike that evening.
Blake is my picky little eater...
One thing I LOVE about our neighborhood is that not only are the neighbors friendly, but the animals are too. We have a dog named Nugget who frequently comes inside our house and cleans our floors. The boys (and I), love it, and Blake loves to pet him and hug him. We also have this cat who visits us regularly and also will walk into our house like she owns the place. There is also a bunny who our neighbor turned into a "free range" bunny who hops around our yard, and will let the boys pet her. We don't need our own pets, because our neighborhood is our own personal pet store!
I appreciate my little two year old so much more now that my older two are in school. Time flies so fast.
I signed my boys up for an art class this summer with a neighborhood artist. She has been teaching summer art classes for years out of her home, and most of her students love these classes. Unfortunately, Chase is so shy, and was too nervous to complete most of his projects. Wesley is silly and just wanted to create his own crazy art. Blake had tons of fun though! :-) Wesley's favorite day was the last day where they got to splatter paint on a large canvas. Wesley decided to become the art, and practically went swimming in the paint. The looks on the other parent's faces were priceless ha ha ha.
My sweet little buddy
Blake loves the park! I love that he is old enough now to actually use the park equipment on his own without me having to hover over his every move.
One rainy day I took the kids (and our adopted neighborhood sister), to our cities' concert in the park. Jason was out of town, it was cold, but I needed to get out of the house so we decided to just go. Luckily, it stopped raining just in time, and we had a lot of fun. They handed out free ice cream vouchers redeemable at the little cafe right next to the park. It was a great night!
We got free books at Barnes and Nobles for their Summer reading program
Cute little pictures the Primary made for Father's day
Two cans of shaving cream + slip and slide = one magical Summer day (unless you are Chase who doesn't like to get messy).
We did other shaving cream science/art experiments:
We took the train to downtown Salt Lake with some friends from our ward to play in the splash pad at the mall, eat lunch, and walk around the temple.
Blake is finally old enough to go to the movies, and actually sit though the movie. We really like the theaters with the leather reclining seats. Blake is spoiled because I took him to a regular theatre and he said "where my button?" (referring to the button to recline the seats).

I've never even been to one of those fancy theaters. Is it wrong to be jealous of a 2 year old?! :p
