I LOVE springtime in Utah. It is amazing how fast the flowers pop out of the ground, and the grass turns green, and the leaves start to grow. Its like the Earth wakes up from a long Winter's sleep. We are able to play outside again and we LOVE that! All the neighborhood kids come out to play, and the boys spend hours outside every day. We have been going on a lot of hikes. There are hundreds of gorgeous hikes around our home, and I love sharing my love of nature with my boys. We recently found a duck pond with a very short trail around it that has been fun to visit. We also discovered a gorgeous reservoir/lake near us which requires a pretty strenuous hike to get to it. We took the wrong trail, and ended up hiking close to six miles. Blake hiked the whole thing himself, minus some steep areas that we had to help him on. I'm still amazed. He was a trouper. These kids have hiked more miles in their little lives than I did my entire childhood/teen years. Hopefully they will grow to love the outdoors as much as I do. We also went to the farm animal's birthday party bash at Thanksgiving Point. The boys got to ride horses, which Blake, my little animal lover was sooo excited to do. The boys also enjoy playing in our old bounce house. That thing is falling apart, but it still holds together, and the boys enjoy it!
