Tulip Festival
Happiness is a beautiful day at the tulip festival.
Our Thanksgiving Point passes get us in free to the tulip festival, so I took my two little boys one beautiful morning. It was a PERFECT day. The weather was perfect. We got there early, so we didn't have any crowds to deal with. The boys were very well behaved, and even let me take pictures of them! We got to enjoy a piece of our Beautiful world, and I got to spend time with my two little ones while Wesley was at school. We ate lunch there at the little cafe, and we even had ice cream. The boys had fun feeding the fish in the pond. It was a magical day. There are not many outings that go so well. Most of the time someone is hungry, or tired, or mad, or grumpy, or someone gets hurt, or Blake has a big poo diaper, and so on. This outing had none of that, and I'm counting my blessings! It was just such an amazing day. I was sad Wesley couldn't go, so a couple weeks later, I took all the boys after school. It was hot, and crowded, and Wesley was "soooo hungry, and tired, and couldn't walk." He complained the whole time, but every time I said, "fine, lets go!" he cried even more. We tried to feed the fish, but the boys fought over the food, and the fish were not eating the food like last time, and that made Wesley cry some more. It was very different from our first trip, but Chase had fun using my old DSLR camera to take pictures of the flowers (and everything else). After that, we met up with Jason and ate dinner at out favorite little deli/cafe located inside Thanksgiving point. I love Spring time, and I love being able to enjoy nature and all its beauty!
