...with my little silly Wesley
-We were in Target with my parents and we walked by the bra section. Wesley 'honks' the cups on a bra and loudly asks, "Papa..what are these?!"
-Wesley has become my Chase translator. Wesley likes to translate for me when Chase is crying. One day he was crying, and Wesley says (in a crying sounding voice), "Chase is saying...'I want Mommy! I want Mommy! I want Mommy!' " He was actually probably right. Sometimes when Chase is crying he will tell me, "Chase wants Milk" or "Chase wants his Pacifier." I wonder if he really does have the gift of speaking in tounges!? lol :-p
-I was changing Wesley's diaper and he says, "Ahhh...I have diaper-rhea. I asked what that was and he said, "its diapers and medicine and bacteria and water."
-I asked Wesley if he liked my hair one morning, and he told me, "Ya! Its cute. Cute and Hot!"
- He recently LOVES singing songs incorrectly. For example, he will sing, "A B C D E F ..... O" or, "A B C D E F...1 2 3" and will then proceed to laugh hysterically while saying, "thats not how it goes!!!!." His other favorite is messing up twinkle twinkle little star, and replacing 'star' with things like, "poo poo" or "Wesley" or any other silly thing he can think of, and ending with "how I wonder why you...are silly?" or ..."are stinky?"...and so on. One night after I put him to bed, I could hear him doing that over and over with those two songs saying different words proceeded by the, "Thats Not how it goes" and the wild laughter.
-Remember how I mentioned that Wesley likes to ask me how my day is going. Well, he has started to ask me that like 15+ times a day. He asks it over and over and over. I try to be polite and answer each time, but, uh...it can get a little old. Well, sometimes he will just answer his own question. W: "Mommy...how is your day today? Good! oh, OK!"
- He LOVES talking on the phone. He wants to talk to anyone who calls, and will talk their ear off if I let them. I will try to post a video of him talking to my mom. However, this was taken a whole year ago, and you can't really understand most of what he was saying because he wasn't even two at the time. You get the idea though, and he sounds almost the same now, the only difference is that he can now speak in understandable sentences (for the most part). He gets sooooo excited about Everyyyyy...thing.....
One day Wesley was really quiet. I went outside, and he was sitting in this pile of muddy water in the lid of his sandbox from the rain. It was freezing and dirty, but he didn't care. Ohhhh...boys! :-)
My mom always says Heavenly Father must have been sad and board when Wesley's little silly spirit came to Earth. I say, he is probably finally able to have a little break from all his craziness! :-)
