conglomerance of stuff

There is just something monumental about the day that your kids start taking a bath together.  Chase is a wiggly little guy, and has been wiggling out of his infant bath tub since he was 2 months old.  I had to start giving him baths in the regular tub from that point on.  I would just put a little water in the bath, and lay him down in it.  As of a month or so ago, I have been able to give them bath's together since he can now sit better in the tub without slipping all over.  He loves to splash and splash, and it drives Wesley crazy! W: "Chase...stop splashing!"  Mommy...Chase is all done, put him in the bed!! "
Wesley is independent, and has never really liked playing with Chase much.  Granted, at nine months old, there still is not a lot of fun stuff Chase can do with Wesley.  Wesley doesn't like when Chase plays with his toys, touches his toys..or breaths on his toys.  He likes to pick out the toys Chase can, and can't play with.  I guess its all about feeling in control.  He likes to tattle on him too.  It kind of makes me laugh.  The other morning Wesley comes running into the office.  W: "Mommy!  Come look!  Chase has something yucky on his lips!"  I go in the living room to find Chase with a dandy lion flower hanging out his mouth.  Sometimes, I appreciate a good tattle-tale!  Sometimes, they do manage to find a fun way to entertain themselves too.  Wesley dragged Chase over to the tunnel, and played peak-a-boo with him.  Wesley LOVES making Chase laugh, and will often come and brag to me, "Mommy...I make Chase laugh!!"    In fact, I was trying to take my monthly picture of Chase next to his frog, and he wouldn't smile for me.  I told Wesley I would give him a candy if he could make Chase laugh.  He gladly took me up on that offer, and came over, acted silly, and Chase gave me a big smile!

Chase + fluffy hair = massive hair poofage.  From the time he was born, his hair has always stuck straight up.  Its kind of what he is known for.  Wesley has the red hair, Chase has the poof. I have cut it a few times just to even it out, but the back continues to grow faster than the rest of his hair.  I never know what to do with it, because it just wont lay flat.  I was trying to grow it out, thinking the weight would make it lay down, but it was starting to look a little silly.  I mean, I think it is the cutest thing ever, of course, but I knew it was time to cut it.

What do you do when you are board?  1. Take the middle part of the jumparoo out.  2. place it on infant.  3. Place toddler in the jumparoo.  4. Sit back and watch.

We went to the park with our good friends the Anderson's.  Kyle is Wesley's age, and Joshua is Chase's age.  They are going to be best friends whether they like it or not, lol.  Wesley really does love Kyle though.  They are good buddies.  Chase is still unsure of Joshua, however.  He doesn't like him coming too close.  He started crying after this picture, and wasn't very fond of Joshua touching him.
