A garden full of flowers: My big, sweet 6 month old!

My friend helped me fix my photo storage issue, so I dont have to start a new blog! yay!

So, my sweet Chase is six months old. "Bubbas" is such a chunky, giggly, fussy, stubborn baby ball of cuteness. He legs have that massive baby chunk all over them. He is in size four diapers, and can fit into some 12 month clothes. He and Wesley can wear the same size diaper, and some of the same clothing. Craziness! He is going to outgrow his infant car seat soon, and we bought a bigger car to accommodate a big convertible car seat rear facing, since our little Yaris was getting squishy. We got a Mazda 5...kind of a mini mini van. It is cute, and I love it. Anyways...Chase loves eating now, and can gobble up an entire size 2 jar of baby food in a matter of minutes. He would eat more too if I let him. He wants to eat anything that comes near his mouth. I am still nursing.... I tried to start weaning him, but he just doesn't like the bottle much. He loves nursing, and I love being close to him. The problem is that he goes a while at night between feedings, so I am having a hard time keeping up with his appetite, and I need to feed him usually a few extra ounces from a bottle at night. We will see what will happen in the next few months. I am glad I have lasted this long. Nursing is challenging, but much easier than pumping like I had to do with Wesley.

Chase loves being outside, and many times I just set him in the backyard in his chair if he is being fussy. He is fussy a lot, and is not a good napper. Many times I have to hold him to get him to sleep. At night, he goes to bed really well, however. He goes to sleep around 7:30. It is like clock work...I would prefer to put him to bed later, but he naturally adapted that time. He sleeps untill 1:30 ish...nurse...sleep untill 5:30ish. I then bring him to bed, and he will sleep until 7:30ish. I just need to get rid of the middle of the night feeding, and it will be all good! :-) He recently got to be part of an infant study at Pitzer college. It was kind of fun, and an interesting experience. He got to sit in a chair, as they played different sounds and showed him some images on two tv screens. After the study is finished, they will mail me the results. It is kind of nice being able to contribute to science again...even in this abstract way! :-)

I have some cute pics and funny things Wesley has been saying, but its getting late, so I will have to save that for another day...

I took some 6 months pictures of my little cutie pie a few days ago:-) Its nice when I have a chance to get behind the camera. I dont have as much time as I used to to dedicate to photography, but I love taking pictures!
