Chase is growing and growing! He is two months old, and such a little joy. Jason said we need to have another baby because Chase is growing too fast and never was really a newborn for very long. Um, ya, I'm thinking we will wait a little longer :-) It is true though..it certainly feels like Chase grew really fast. I guess normal full term babies do that though :-) He is just the cutest little guy, and I love him so much. I have been calling him "bubbas" for a while. It just kind of came out, and stuck. Wesley has always been my little 'buddy" and Chase is my little Bubbas. :-p
Chase is sleeping pretty well. I have been really lucky with him. From the first night we came home, he has always been on a really good schedule. He wakes to eat and then goes back to sleep. There has never been hours of crying, or hours of trying to get him to go back to sleep. He really doesn't even cry at night. I just hear him wake up and start wiggling, and if I wait too long he will start fussing. I just change him, nurse him, and put him back. As of a few weeks ago, I put him to bed around 9:30, and he wakes up around 3 or 3:30. I feed him, and he sleeps until 6ish. However, if I give him a pacifier or bring him into bed with me, he will usually sleep another one to two hours until I get Wesley up. So, he only wakes once at night which is nice. His napping is different every day, but luckily he and Wesley take their long naps at the same time (for the most part) so I usually get a few hours during the middle of the day to try to nap or get things done (like blog!). It is really nice. He loves to be held, which I love too, but it can get hard when I just need to set him down for a few minutes to tend to Wesley. He is the perfect second baby though, and really has been easy on me. I dont know if it is because he is my second, so I know what I am doing, or if he really is just an easy baby. I just remember being so stressed with Wesley the first few months, and I really haven't had those feelings this time. There are times where both the boys need something, and that is the hardest part, but we manage. However, Wesley is getting fussier and louder the last few months and I'm assuming it is because he is trying to get my attention. In fact, he cries and fusses more than Chase does. That is something I need to figure out how to work on because it can really wear me out. He is a good boy though, and Wesley amazes me all the time. He is turning into a good little drawer, and he is still obsessed with his alphabet. He sings that song ALL day, and every day he has to play with his alphabet letters (his favorite toy). Well, anything will the alphabet is his favorite toy. His attention to detail and his desire to memorize things amazes me. He has a book of the states that he asks me to read sometimes. I go over some of the easy states with him, and after only a few times he already has some of the states memorized. I wish I could learn as fast as toddlers do!

Before Chase's blessing we gave him a little haircut. We just trimmed the very back hair poof. Wesley didn't need a haircut until he was 15 months old...he was such a bald baby. Chase has a lot more hair than Wesley did, and it is fun :-) It is a little sad though that he is loosing a lot of it...however, he still has more than Wesley did!
