warm summer evenings

Since I started my flower garden, I have been spending a lot more time outside, watering and weeding.   I try to water at least every other day, but I didn't realize how much work watering a few flowers is with a one year old.   Correction...with a WESLEY one year old.  All he wants to do is play in the mud, and pull out the flowers, and pick up all the sticks, and eat the rocks.  I have learned that it is best to just strip him down to a diaper, and let him have fun.  Sometimes I dont, and his clothes get filthy.  How would it be to be a child again, and have no cares in the world, except having fun in the mud?!

Opps...he got to the mud before I got to him :-)

Helping Daddy water our dead backyard

His "excited" face.  He cracks me up

"the point"

Sorry its sideways... :-(

Playing in the cold sprinklers.  I might join him one of these days!  Its getting too hot!

He is the cutest flower in my garden!  :-)

I love his facial expressions - aren't these little ones the cutest? Elijah does some similar faces. I think maybe there is a universal "baby language" that involves those looks. Your front lawn looks lovely - our entire lawn looks like your back!
