So, my mom-in-law got me tickets to see Wicked for my b-day. The show was last night, and we had a lot of fun! However, the drive there was not much fun. Due to all the fires, many freeways were closed, so the 60 and 10 were backed up. Luckily, we left super early, so we we arrived in L.A. really early despite the yucky traffic. I am so thankful Jason has patience to drive those horrible freeways. I have never driven to L.A. It scares me to death. Anyways... so....we went to a restaurant called "The Waffle." It was fun! I had a chocolate waffle covered with blueberries, strawberries, and whip cream. Jason got some sort of jalapeno waffle that had chicken and veggies with it. It was a fun little restaurant. While waiting for the food, we heard a lot of noise, and looked out the window to find a huge group of prop 8 protesters marching down the street. All the employees went running out to cheer on their friends. It was a little interesting, lol. After that we just walked around hollywood blvd. and Sunset for an hour and a half. The smoke in the air was so thick though, that I just wanted to stay in the buildings. Finally we got to go see the production. It was really good! I will never be able to watch Wizard of Oz the same way again. I would love to see chaffey high school do Wicked...they would do an awesome job. I am so excited to be able to say I finally saw a Broadway production! :)
So, I guess I am finally started to show. The other night Jason looked at me and said, "hey...you have a baby bump!" Then, at church a lady told me it looks like I am showing. I think it really depends on what I wear because most people still dont believe I am 4 months. We had to push back our dr. apt. by a week. So, we dont get to find out the sex until dec 2. Jason had to work on our original appointment, and he did not want to miss it, so we had to change the date. I wouldn't want him to miss it either, so I am happy. :)

I love love LOVE wicked!!!!!!!! Sorry about the traffic, that stinks, literally. Glad you had fun!!
I loved Wicked too!! We saw it last year for our anniversary. When we went we actually had trouble finding somewhere to eat. We ended up eating lunch at a pizza place.
I am SO glad that you found my blog; it's been fun catching up and reading yours!! Congratulations on the pregnancy! It feels like yesterday that we were finding out if it was a boy or a girl... and yet has seemed to drag on forever! It sounds like your job is, well, interesting also!
Ben couldn't make our appointment, so I found a really cute card, and I had the ultrasound tech write the sex down in the card and seal the envelope. The next day when Ben was home, we opened it together, and it was so thrilling and exciting, and we have that card forever. It's a fun moment.
... I'm still waiting to hear what the baby will be wearing? Pink or Blue Team? Have you tried Babyfit yet? That's my favorite site ... STILL!
