So...I am about 10 weeks so far, and still feel fairly good. I usually feel the most nauseated on Tuesdays... weird huh? Also, I am not really showing yet. However... you know that feeling you get after you eat a ton of food, and you have to unbutton your pants because your stomach is a little rounder?? Well, that is kind of how I feel all the time. So, I can tell I am growing, but I am pretty sure no one else can. I am excited to start showing a little more, and to be able to feel the baby move.
So, we are still looking for a house, but at a much slower pace. A few months ago, we were looking based on both Jason and my income. We found a gorgeous house that I loved, and I felt like it was "the one." We put in our offer, and we waited a few weeks to find out if we got the house. The bank was deciding between us, and another offer. Finally we found out that we came in second and didn't get the house. At first I was really sad. I just didn't understand. Now, I am soooo grateful we didn't get the house. I would have had to keep working full time for another two years until Jason got a raise to cover the high mortgage alone. Everything happens for a reason, and God will always lead us down the correct path. Luckily, since we have started looking 7 months ago, house prices have fallen by like $30,000. There are sooo many really nice homes out there that have come down in price. We have a few offers out there now, but we are just taking our time. We love our apartment, and are not in a big rush to move. I know Heavenly Father will lead us to the right house.
Lastly, on a random note....Jason bought me a sewing machine!!! I am a crazy, scrapbooking fool :) and I thought it would be nice to start a new hobby. Jason got a bonus at work, and without telling me, went and picked out a sewing machine for me. He did a really good job, and I probably couldn't have picked out a better one for myself. Since i have zero sewing experience (I can barely sew a button on a shirt), this singer sewing machine is perfect. It is simple for me now, but complex enough that I can get lots of use out of it when I am better at sewing in the future. Stay tuned for my future creations! :)
