It feels a little odd updating my blog during the Covid-19 pandemic with regular posts. Coronavirus deserves a post of its own, but I am going to play catch up before I delve into that topic.
Looking through these pictures while quarantined at home brings so much appreciation (and a bit of sadness), for the days when we could go out in public and not worry about catching a virus that could possibly kill us or those we love. Things are not as bad as they could be, and for that I am grateful. Jason has a good job. We have food to eat. We have our health. We have nature close by. We can still venture out with masks, but life is different now. We are all figuring out our new normal. However, going though pictures has always brought me happiness. Now it a great time to update my blog and reminisce on all our fun adventures.
It is no secret that I LOVE Autumn. Pumpkins, fall festivals, apple spice everything, crisp air, changing leaves, halloween, costumes, scary movies, and gorgeous nature fill my heart with so much joy. Utah does an amazing job at embracing everything fall, and I try to take full advantage! I love that my boys are still little enough to participate in many of these activities. I am well aware that they are growing fast, and might soon not want to dress up and trick or treat at the pioneer village, or visit the witches. Until then, I am embracing as much of their childhood as I can!!
Here are some fun fall adventures we had in 2019.
Cornbellys is one of our family's favorite experiences. For most things we do as a family (hikes, camping, movies, and so on...) I usually have one boy that complains about something. However, Cornbellys is one of those experiences that everyone loves. It doesn't feel like fall without a trip to cornbellys!

Blake is my only kid that LOVES miniature golfing. |

I love that Blake still asks me to push him on the swing set. Autumn time is especially beautiful in our neighborhood!
I have been waiting so long to be able to attend my children's field trips without needing to find a babysitter. Unfortunately, I don't know if there will even be field trips next year. I'm so happy I was able to help out at the Planetarium for Chase's third grade field trip. Chase still loves when I help out in his class, and I really do love being there for him.
Visiting the witches at Gardner Village, and trick or treating at This is The Place are other fun events we try not to miss.
