Our elves came back to visit and brought back notes, magic paper, and toys from the north pole. Chase and Blake woke up around 5:30 or 6:00 am EVERY day because they were so excited to see what the elves were doing. They ran downstairs to check on the elves, and Chase would also put together a lego piece from his advent calendar. I LOVE how excited they were each morning - that is where the real Christmas magic is!!

The Holidays are a time for lots of Christmas performances and recitals. Blake had two performances - one with his preschool, and one with his dance class. I love these cheesy, sweet, funny shows. They are going to be one of my fondest memories when I'm older. I'm a bit sentimental as a realize this might be the last year I ever have a child in preschool. I sure love this age!
Blake is always a character! |
His school even had Santa to visit with the kids after their performance. Blake has been VERY specific with santa about what he wants - Power action Pikachu and lego Pikachu.
My Grandpa and Linda always send the boys a gift each year.
I am a room mom for Chase's class, so I have helped with all the class parties so far. I LOVE being with my cute Chase, but I don't know how teachers do it all day - I'm exhausted after being in a classroom for an hour!!
Every Fall I take my boys to Gardner Village to see the witches, but this was the first time we have visited during the Winter to see the elves. Jason and Wesley thought the elves were really creepy, but I loved them. Its so fun that this shopping center puts up these cute displays each season for free. There is even a scavenger hunt the kids can do to earn a free candy. It really is a fun part of our community.
