I love Halloween. Not the scary, bloody, creepy aspect of Halloween, but the fun, festive (and candy) part of Halloween. I have many good memories of Halloween growing up, and I hope my kids have many enjoyable memories of the holidays too. However, I do not like how expensive all the costumes are. I can't justify spending $20 or more on a cute costume that is only going to be used one day. I also dont have the desire right now to spend time thinking of cute homemade costumes either. This year, I found a cute, cheep spider costume at a thrift store. It was perfect. And for Chase, my mom made me a cute pumpkin hat for my little Chase pumpkin, and we had our cute and simple (and inexpensive) costumes. Jason went out after Halloween this year, and we got our costumes 90% off for next year! Awesome! :-) Wesley had fun trick or treating around my mom's neighborhood. My sister in law and brother went trick or treating too, and took Wesley to all the doors. Wesley has a big crush on Jocelyn, and loved being with her all night. It was fun taking my little boy to the same houses that I went trick or treating at when I was younger. Also, a week before Halloween we went to Tom's Farms and had a fun time there. It was hot...really hot....and kind of crowded, but it was a cute little place to spend a few hours at.
