He was in a position that made it hard to get a good profile picture, so I labeled all the parts to make it easier to see him. |
A BOY! Wesley will get to have a little brother! I am glad he will get to grow up with a little brother close in age. Hopefully they will be good friends. We are very excited to welcome this little baby into our family. Even though I thought this one might be a girl because I was more sick this pregnancy; my heart was telling me he was a boy, and the heart is always right! I love seeing the baby on the ultrasound, but the one part that is not fun is feeling like your bladder is about to explode all over the room. They make you drink 4 glasses of water an hour before, and then push a wand into your incredibly full bladder and make you lie there for 15-20 minutes. All the mom's out there know what I am talking about :-) Anyways....at Kaiser, you can't see what they are looking at when they are taking measurements and getting the pictures for the doctors. After they take all the required measurements and pictures, they invite the hubby to come in, and they show us the baby together. I'm sure all moms can agree that seeing your little baby wiggling inside of you on the ultrasound screen is an awesome and miraculous experience. He was curled up with his hand by his head sleeping for most of the ultrasound, but towards the end he stretched his little arms and legs way out. Finally, they looked between the legs and right away I said, "its a boy!" Sure enough, she said she was pretty sure the baby was a boy. I feel like I can prepare a little better now, and it feels more real. We are probably going to keep the boys in the same room, so I can keep my scrapbook room/office a little longer. Now I can start getting everything ready :-) We are super excited! Wesley is such a sweet, silly little boy; we are anxious to see what kind of personality this little guy will have!

How awesome! Boys are amazing! My brother and his wife have 4 little boys, no girls and they wouldn't change that for anything. Congrats!
CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is awesome. My dream would be two have two boys in a row too. That is just great! Also, I've been loving a lot of your pictures recently... those in dc are especially gorgeous!
