10 months!

Wait....what???? Wesley is 10 months old already??? Even though I dont believe it, I guess time doesn't lie. My little cutie patootie is 10 months already!

Baby voices are the best. He, like most babies his age, loves to talk. He added "up" to his small vocabulary the other day, making that four(ish) words he can say. I dont know if he knows what it means, but every time I pick him up I say it, so he started saying it. His hair is still... well... trying to grow, lol. It is getting longer on the very top of his head, so I can put a little lotion in it to make it look like it is sticking up. His hair is still bright orange/red as are his eye brows and eyelashes. I am pretty sure it will stay some shade of red, as it really hasn't changed at all since he was born. Who knows though..we will just have to wait and see. I love it though. I always wanted a red-headed baby. He has my complexion...very pale white, and gets red when he is hot like me. He is really good with other people, and hasn't developed separation anxiety at all yet. One thing that I think is kind of funny though, is that he just stares at people when he first sees them. A few of our friends say it makes them feel weird...like he is staring into their soul. *Twilight Zone music begins to play* No smile, no blinking...just staring. lol. Once he gets warmed up, he is a silly little guy though. He is truly a joy, and his smiles and laughter bring such happiness to our home.

His "staring face"

Not the best picture of me, but I love how sweet and calm Wesley looks. He has been getting tired earlier lately, and I try to keep him up as long as I can before bed. Sometimes he just can't hold out any longer, and falls asleep. There is just something so peaceful, and so beautiful about a sleeping baby. I love just holding his sweet spirit in my arms.

He has recently started doing this thing with his lips where he brings his bottom lip up over his top, and it kind of looks like an old man with out teeth. Sometimes he does it with his tongue. This was the best picture I have taken so far of him, but I haven't captured his funniest face yet. It cracks me up!
