Christmas Pictures I took last Sunday

Wesley helped me decorate the tree
We bought the biggest stocking we could find for Wesley. It was meant to be a joke, but it looked so cute we left it on the fireplace, lol
Putting the star on the tree
Wesley helped me wrap present by playing with the cardboard rolls--
I love Christmas!!!! It feels like my first Christmas again now that I have a baby. Well...he doesn't really know what it going on, but I am more excited to give him gifts and see what the grandparents are giving him than me. I just can't wait!!!! We bought our tree a week and a half ago and put it up. It finally smells like Christmas! We won't always get a real tree because it concerns me what Christmas tree farming is doing to the environment. However, you just can't reproduce that Christmas tree smell with candles! Wesley watched as we put it up, and helped to put on the top bow. :-) A few nights ago my best friend and I made dinner for our hubby's. We have made it a tradition to make dinner together for them at least once a year, and we can never do a "normal" dish. That is too boring. One year we made spaghetti with meatballs, and tried to make them green, but the sauce turned black, lol. And we made little bugs and put bread crumbs on top and made bug spaghetti. Then, last year we made lasagna, but made the cheese blue, and swirled it with white cheese and made a rendition of "A starry Night." This year we made sweet and sour meatballs over rice. We died the rice green, and the meatballs red (hard to see in the picture) and made it look like a Christmas tree! :-) It tasted pretty good too! :-)
