We had thanksgiving dinner at our house this year, and Jason did most of the cooking. He is a really good chef, and cooked the turkey "Alton Brown style." I always have a hard time eating the turkey, especially when I see its little body in the pan. Some people think I am silly, but I really feel a little sad. I start thinking about its little life, and I wonder if it was a mom, or a son, or how old it was. I really appreciate all the little animals that give up their lives for us on thanksgiving, and every other day too. Anyways, I also made home-made rolls thanks to an easy recipe I learned from a Relief Society cooking activity. I was excited to try to make something homemade. That was a big deal for me, because boiling water for top ramen, and putting easy mac in the microwave is what I do best, lol. I really am working on it, and if anyone has any easy, yummy recipes, I would love to try them!

My little turkey...he looks good enough to eat :-)
Wesley enjoyed looking at our little Christmas tree I put up last night. We are going to get a bigger tree in a week or so, but I wanted to put up a few decorations early to get in the Christmas spirit. I am so excited for Christmas!
