The bad thing about Jason's job is that he has to travel here and there. The good thing about Jason's job is that I can go with him if I want. Last week he had to stay for a week in Marina del Rey, so we decided to turn it into our family vacation. :) We stayed at a super, super nice Marriott hotel. It was so much fun. In fact, we were lucky because out of all the hotels in LA, we juts happened to be staying in the hotel that they were holding American Idol auditions. I was very excited needless to say. I attempted to watch the contestants as the walked in and out of a judging room, but Wesley was not nearly as excited as I was. I watched as the camera guy would follow the rejected contestants outside. One actually came up to me and said, "they rejected me!!! Look, this is how I sang..." and actually started singing for me! Some looked at Wesley and told him he should try out, lol. I saw a few with the golden tickets. It was very fun!!! During the day while Jason was working, I got to walk to the Marina del Rey pier near Venice beach, and along the Marina to see all the boats. I have come to realize that a four month old is not nearly as excited to see all these things as I was. He would last about five minutes before I would have to move on to something else. He is like his mommy..he gets board very easily. Luckily, if he got too cranky I could just go back to the room. Our room had a gorgeous view of the beach and of LA. In one corner was downtown LA, and in the other side was the beach. We were on the 9th floor, so the view was pretty much awesome. For dinner one night we went to the cheescake factory, also thanks to the spending money Jason gets everyday :) Wesley was not happy there, but we managed to still have a fun time. :) We also walked along the Santa Monica pier, as well as Venice beach. Man..there sure are crazy people over there!! Over all, we had tons of fun, and Wesley is looking forward to his next adventure! :)

Sounds wonderful! Love all the pics.
That's so great that you were able to have a nice get-a-way. Love the pictures. You are so cute!!
Oh that is awesome!! I am so jealous!
That sounds like so much fun. I wish Chris would get some work out in some places like that... I'm at work with him in texas and this city is in the middle of nowhere... You have to leave the city to even get to a super market. :) I love the picture of you and wes walking on the beach. He is getting so big!
I love little trips like that not to far away but enough to make you feel like you gone on vacation. Looks like you guys had a great time.
I love the black and white of you in the water with wesley, very cute! That is also really cool that you can go on vacation with your husband whenever you want. I love you chubby baby, too cute!
That looks like an amazing trip! I remember when Brock didn't want to be anywhere for too long ... he's becoming a man, is what it is. He's thinking "If only I could move this body I'd run these people in circles!"
you are funny rebecca :) (but very true)!
