Build A Bear

I don't know what it is, but I LOVE build a bear. Yesterday Jason took me there for an early V-Day gift. Jason helped me pick out my little bear, and even helped me dress him. (he is the one in the middle of the picture). I named him Charlie. Charlie is my fifth build a bear. :) My grandma (mimi) loved dolls and stuffed animals. I think I am taking after her! She had so many dolls and bears that she could have opened her own shop. I don't have quite that many, but there is just something special about making your own bear buddie. SOOO fun! :) I love dressing them too (even though the clothes are sooo expensive ;P ).

Charlie can keep me company as I write my CEQA report...yuck... Basically, it is this HUGE report I have to write for my Environmental consulting class. A CEQA report has to be filled out before any building can be built. It is to make sure no endangered species will be harmed, or to make sure the building is not going to be built on a fault zone, or to make sure it will not harm Indian burial ground, or to make sure it will not create a lot of runoff......and the list goes on and on. It is going to be 40-50 pages long ...maybe more ;( It is not fun, but it has to be done. Oh well, I have about 25 pages done. It is not bad once you start it, but I have to work on it like eight hours a week or more to finish it.

Also, I just got a new calling in my church....second counselor in the Young Womens (I am over the 12-13 year old girls). It is funny because I have been in YW ever since I "left" YW. I was Beehive teacher, then Personal Progress leader, then secretary, then Laurel teacher, and now counselor. Well, I did do Primary for a few months once, but anyways.... It is fun. I enjoy being with the girls. The only problem is, I still feel like a young women! :) I am sooo excited to go to the dances again, tee hee hee :)
